The Bookworm Auction
Online Only, June 27th
This auction will be conducted much differently from our typical sales due to the material to be offered.  The sale will feature a variety of antiquarian, vintage, and collectible books.  Some are rare, some curious, some helpful, some odd, but ALL lots will start at $1!  This will be an online only sale, and the catalogue will appear only on our website!  Plus, if you are bidding in the Gentleman's Library sale on the day prior, you will be able to pick up your lots from both sales in one trip.

To make this sale possible, it will differ from our usual sales in the following ways:

1.  The cataloguing and photography will be minimal (in the interest of time) compared to our normal auctions.

2.  This sale will be timed and online only, through our site only.  The sale will use a "soft close" in which lots begin to close in small batches at predetermined times (the evening of June 27th);  however, if any bid is placed on a particular lot within the last 3 minutes, then an additional 3 minutes will be added to the clock for that particular lot.  In other words, you don't have to worry about losing a lot to a bidder who is competing against the clock rather than you.  You will also be able to bid on lots at any time prior to the sale, just as with our usual sales.

3.  All winning bidders invoices will be charged to their cards following the auction (the card entered upon registration), and then shipping will be charged to the same card several days later for those who are not picking up their lots.  This is simply a time-saving measure, for this sale only.
